Award Recognition Comes on the Heels of OAKLEAF Hitting
$500 Million in Annual Sales
East Hartford, Conn. (November 19, 2007)- OAKLEAF, the nation's leading provider of waste and recycling solutions, has announced that Gino Porazzo, Executive Vice-President and Chief Financial Officer of OAKLEAF, has won the 2007 "CFO of the Year" Award in the Large Private Companies category, a recognition program sponsored by the Hartford Business Journal.
The "CFO of the Year" Award honors financial professionals in the Greater Hartford region for outstanding performance in their roles as corporate financial stewards. Mr. Porazzo, who was selected by a panel of independent judges, accepted this prestigious honor during a recent awards luncheon in Hartford. The Hartford Business Journal also recognized a top CFO in each of the three other categories: Large Public Companies, Small Private Companies, and Non Profits.

Prior to joining OAKLEAF in 2003, Mr. Porazzo, a Certified Public Accountant, held a number of senior financial positions, including Vice-President and Corporate Controller, Director of Acquisitions, and finally Senior Vice-President and Chief Financial Officer of American Medical Response. Additionally, he was an Audit Manager of KPMG Peat Marwick. Mr. Porazzo has a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from Bentley College.
