Governor Honors East Hartford Company By Proclaiming September 27 OAKLEAF Day

WHO: Representative Ruth Fahrbach (61st District), on behalf of Governor M. Jodi Rell, will proclaim September 27 "OAKLEAF Day" and present OAKLEAF Waste Management CEO Jim Barnes with a Governor's Proclamation and General Assembly Citation recognizing OAKLEAF for its contributions to the State of Connecticut. Mayor Melody A. Currey of East Hartford will bestow OAKLEAF with a Proclamation on behalf of the Town of East Hartford. In addition, in commemoration of OAKLEAF Day, OAKLEAF will grant the Cherish The Children Foundation with a charitable donation.
