OAKLEAF Waste Management has appointed Scott Sauerbier, a 16-year veteran of the waste management industry, to the position of Vice President, National Sales Associate. He will be responsible for sales and new business development in the Southeast region of the U.S. The announcement was made by Jewel Sikes, OAKLEAF's Executive Vice President, Sales & Marketing.
Prior to joining OAKLEAF, Sauerbier had spent eight years in various sales positions with Allied Waste, Inc., and seven years with Waste Management, Inc. During this period his base of operations included Georgia, Texas and Tennessee. He also served as Director of Sales and Marketing for FCR of Georgia, Inc.
"Scott was a top sales achiever while with other organizations, and we are very happy to have him join our team, " noted Sikes. "With OAKLEAF's expertise and resources now backing him up, we expect him to become even more successful," she added.
