OAKLEAF Waste Management, has appointed Kevin E. Gage to the newly-created position of Executive Vice President/Chief Operating Officer. The announcement was made by OAKLEAF President and CEO Jim Barnes. Gage will be responsible for managing and directing day-to-day operations at OAKLEAF. Prior to joining OAKLEAF, Gage was Managing Director of Nightingale and Associates a business and financial consulting firm. "Kevin's wealth of experience and breadth of knowledge in the financial and service industries will make him an invaluable part of our management team," noted Barnes.
Before Nightingale, Gage was Chairman/CEO of JobDirect, Inc., a company
that provided software services to Fortune 3000 companies. Prior to JobDirect, he was President and CEO of Hometown Bancorporation (The Bank of Darien). Kevin began his career with Price Waterhouse and is a CPA in the State of Connecticut. He earned a B.A. in accounting from Ithaca College, and an MBA in finance from the University of Bridgeport, where he was elected to the honor societies Phi Kappa Phi and Beta Gamma Sigma.
