What is OAKLEAFbid?

OAKLEAFbid is the latest new service offered by OAKLEAF to enhance our current sourcing ability and to assist with the roll-out of our new Zero Waste program. By allowing our vendor partners the ability to register and update their company service profiles On-Line, OAKELAF will be able to better match up the actual services our vendor partners offer with the current and future needs of our clients.

How will OAKLEAFbid affect me?

Beginning in the Fall of 2009, all new service opportunities will be offered exclusively on line. OAKLEAF will begin to transition from fax and email based procurement processes. OAKLEAFbid will allow vendors greater visibility into the procurement process as well as allowing them to bid on new market and service offerings. Additionally, OAKLEAF will begin to implement standard vendor contracts as part of vendor relationships. This will allow OAKLEAF and our vendors to clearly agree on standard terms and conditions.

When will the new process with OAKLEAFbid start?

OAKLEAFbid will be coming in August 2009. OAKLEAF will send usernames and passwords as well as offer online training classes.

How do I sign up?/ How do I get a username and password?

If you are an existing vendor and we have your e-mail address on file, you are already signed up! Watch your email box for login and password at the beginning of August 2009. It will be sent automatically. If you are a new vendor, please send your contact name, email and phone number to OAKLEAFbid@OAKLEAFwaste.com.

What if my information is not correct?

If your contact name or email needs to be changed, please email us at OAKLEAFbid@OAKLEAFwaste.com. All other information can be changed in the new tool after you login.

I’ve already done work for several years with you, why do I need to use OAKLEAFbid now?

OAKLEAFbid is one of our important ZeroWaste initiatives to reduce the need for paper, strengthen our relationships with our vendors and allow vendors who are interested in bidding on new service opportunities a very easy way to do so.

What if I don’t have internet access?

Unfortunately, OAKLEAFbid is a web based tool. If you don’t have internet access, you will not get notifications of our bid events or be able to bid on a timely basis. This offering is critical to our corporate goals of ZeroWaste and vendor partnerships.

Will training on the OAKLEAFbid.com be available?

Yes, OAKLEAF will offer step – by –step training as part of the process. You should get a PDF attached to your email with your username and password.

Who is Global eProcure?

Global eProcure is the software provider of our new online sourcing tool: OAKLEAFbid. Although you may see some emails and web addresses that include Global eProcure, you will using our new OAKLEAFbid tool.

Will I need a different login then I use for eBusiness?

Yes. OAKLEAFBid is a sourcing tool and will be used primarily by sales managers. You will get an email from Global eProcure with your new username and password. If you are not the sales manager or responsible for responding to requests for bids by OAKLEAF, please forward the email to your company's sales manager.

Will I still get emails and faxes about new opportunities?

No. OAKLEAFBid will replace all current processes including fax and emails. In the future, all opportunities to bid will be exclusively through the OAKLEAFBid sourcing tool.

How will I be notified of a bid event coming up?

If you have entered the markets you operate, when a new service or market opportunity becomes available, you will automatically receive an email notice of the dates of the bid event. It will be important to keep your business profile updated so you get timely notice of these events.

How do I know if I have won the bid?

You will be notified by your Vendor Relationship Manager at OAKLEAF within 2 – 4 days of the close of the bid event. Your VRM and the OAKLEAF team will then work with you to make sure you are set up on our other Zero Waste tools including purchase order acceptance, electronic bill presentment, electronic funds transfer or ACH.

I bid for multiple locations, can I use one login and password?

If you bid and receive awards at multiple locations, you will have to use unique passwords for each location. This will allow OAKLEAFbid to award to specific locations, rather than at the parent company level.

How do I delete a contact in my profile?

Please contact support@globaleprocure.com and they will remove the contact for you. If you are removing the primary contact, please specify who will be the new primary contact.

How does OAKLEAFbid know what areas I service and what equipment I have?

By completing your vendor registration when invited, you will be invited to participate in future opportunities based on the counties that you specify you service and the equipment you list.
